Life Care

General Provisions:

The Virginian’s Life Care Plan guarantees lifetime residence and quality nursing care all under one roof. Entry fees range from $194,000 to $312,500 and the monthly fees range from $2,735 to $5,064 per month. The Entrance Fee declines 3% each month from the date of occupancy for 34 months, after which time no refund remains. For the first 90 days of occupancy, the Entrance Fee is fully refundable in the event of death or withdrawal.

Each resident is entitled to 10 temporary-stay days per year in The Virginian’s Assisted Living Center or the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. If the resident enters the Assisted Living Center or the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on a permanent basis, the Monthly Maintenance Fee will follow them. Additional services are available at an additional charge.

Life Care applicants must qualify for admission at the Independent Living level. Pre-existing conditions may disqualify a prospective resident from the Life Care Plan.
