Below is a list of frequently asked questions by our patients
1. How do you schedule therapy sessions?
Appointments are scheduled between 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. Your therapist will work with you to schedule appointments that are convenient to your schedule.
2. How many days would I come to therapy and how long does it last? ?
The evaluating therapist will discuss frequency of treatment after your initial session. Treatments may be anywhere from once a week to five times a week. Appointments are usually one hour in length, but this may vary according to your treatment plan.
3. What should I bring to therapy with me?
Please bring your doctor’s order for therapy, your insurance cards, and a list of your medications. Wear comfortable clothing.
4. Do you bill private insurance? ?
We automatically bill Medicare and your secondary insurance. We are a certified Medicare provider, but bill secondary insurances as a non-participating provider.
5. What if I need to cancel an appointment? ?
Please call 703-277-6611. We appreciate 24 hours notice, if possible.
6. Do I need a doctor’s order to get therapy? ?
Yes. We will also send your physician a Plan of Treatment for review after your evaluation.
7. Will I always have the same therapist when I come?
You will have a primary therapist in charge of your treatment. Most likely that therapist will be performing most of your treatment sessions. Vacations and schedule changes may necessitate another therapist working with you on occasion. All therapists will be following the same Plan of Care and goals that you and your evaluating therapist agreed upon.
8. How long will my course of therapy be?
You and your therapist will work together to determine goals for treatment. Treatment will be completed when goals are met, or your progress has reached a plateau. You also may choose to stop therapy at any time.
