The Virginian is pleased to offer outpatient Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy services to the community in addition to our residents.
We specialize in the treatment of seniors! Our therapists continuing education, interests, and treatment skills are focused on disorders more prevalent as one ages. Joint replacements, arthritis, stroke, Parkinson's Disease, and balance problems are among our specialties. Our Speech Therapists are all trained in Vital-Stim Therapy to treat swallowing problems and have expertise in addressing cognitive declines that can occur with many age related and neurological conditions. But our therapists are also skilled in the treatment of problems that can occur at any age - back and neck strains, traumatic knee injuries, and shoulder tendonitis, for example.

Our clinic is well staffed, and there is rarely more than a two day wait for a convenient appointment. If your physician feels you need to begin therapy right away, we will do our best to get you into treatment immediately!
We are a Medicare certified provider, and will submit claims directly to your Medicare B and secondary insurance. We will provide you with a bill for submission to other primary insurance plans.
We are conveniently located off of Route 50 in Fairfax. We have convenient free outpatient parking adjacent to the rehab department entrance.
Appointments may be scheduled by calling 703 277-6611. Please have your prescription from you doctor and your insurance information available when you call. We will maintain close communication with your referring physician and provide frequent updates on your progress.
